GitNomad — Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026-07-04

This is a plain-language starting template. It is not legal advice — review and adapt it (jurisdiction, liability limits, entity name) before publishing it as your official terms.

By using GitNomad (“the app”), you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

What GitNomad does

GitNomad lets you open, edit, and sync your own git repositories between your phone and your desktop, and run commands on your own computer from your phone. You need to sign in (via GitHub or Google) to use it.

Your account

Your content

Running code

Commands you trigger run on your own desktop, under your own account and permissions. You are responsible for what you choose to run. We are not responsible for the effects of commands you execute.

Acceptable use

Don’t attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer for abuse, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users’ data. We may suspend accounts that do.

Availability

GitNomad is provided “as is” and “as available.” It’s an evolving product; features may change, and we don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Keep your own copies of important work — your local git repositories remain the source of truth.

Disclaimer & liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GitNomad is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or lost profits, arising from your use of the app.

Termination

You can stop using GitNomad and delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms; we’ll update the effective date above and surface a notice in the app for material changes. Continuing to use GitNomad after a change means you accept the updated terms.
